There might be several reasons why you cannot connect to our servers. The most common problem is related to download and installation of files that are required to play on our servers. To help you solve your problem, we need some information from you, including your IP address, player name and any error- or console messages you might have got. Also tell us when you attemped to connect to the server, and which of our servers you have problems with. If you want to send a screenshot then please save it as .jpg first. Do NOT send .bmp files.
Things to look at before you contact us:
Password
The servers are normally not passworded. If you are asked to enter a password, that means that the server is closed for a private arrangement or for maintenance.
Missing files
You have to install our native anticheat tool to play on our servers. This is a dll file and a couple of uscript files that must be placed in your Unrealtournament\System folder. You should see a message asking you to install the files when you connect to the server, but if that does not work, you can install the files manually. The files can be found here. Download them and save them in your UnrealTournament\System folder.
Client failed validation
Some people get kicked because the default player skins have been changed. To sort this, get the default skins here. Extract the .utx files to your Unrealtournament\Textures directory, overwriting the ones you allready got.
